Admission Criteria
Prospective tenants wishing to lease space in the
Venture Out Business Center will be required to meet the following
minimum criteria:
• Meet with the incubator manager or SBDC advisor
• For those without a completed business plan, work with the SBDC
counselors to satisfactorily complete a business plan
• Submit company business plan for staff review
• Final approval by the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation,
Inc. Board of Directors
Upon admission into the Venture Out Business Center, new tenants must
then complete the following steps:
• Sign and return the lease agreement along with the first month rent
payment. Also, remit a check for security deposit in the same amount as
one rent payment.
• Provide proof of insurance (both property and liability) as per item
22 of the lease agreement.
• Read and sign the Venture Out Business Center Rules and Regulations.
• Submit a “Change of Address” notification to the local Post Office (if
necessary).
• Familiarize yourself with the services, both free and fee-based. All
business counseling is free and always confidential. Business counseling
is available by appointment with SBDC staff members. Those wishing to
use the copier will be assigned an access code to provide a monthly
account of your machine use for billing purposes.
• Tenants are responsible for their own telephone service. SEI
Communications is the building provider. |
